Our Composer, Dr Ken Chong won the top prize/position for the following awards/competitions:

           

• Top winner of 2008 Phoenix Awards (by AdAsia) for “Original Music Score” for MCYS TVC entitled, “Family”.

• Winner of “Top Local Instrumental Contemporary Music” award at 25th COMPASS Awards Presentation 2022 for the track, “Close-Hauled”.

 

• ‘彩虹金刚 (Rainbow Bot)’ by Stefanie Sun, composed & co-arranged by Ken Chong, won Apple Music best song of 2016.

• ‘彩虹金刚 (Rainbow Bot)’ by Stefanie Sun, composed & co-arranged by Ken Chong, won China’s Douban’s “single of 2016 given the most attention” 2016.

• ‘彩虹金刚 (Rainbow Bot)’ by Stefanie Sun, composed & co-arranged by Ken Chong, won best EP at FreshMusic Awards. 2017.

           

• Grand Prize Winner, FM 100.3 “My Production” Local Music Writing Competition 1999 for the song entitled, “You Are Trash”.
